    “Oh, I feel this one! A few years ago, I grabbed a mooring ball in 20 knots of wind, feeling pretty proud of myself—until I realized I had somehow looped the mooring line around my prop. 🙃 Of course, the wind kicked up even more while I was trying to figure out how to free it, and I had to do an impromptu swim (in freezing water, mind you) to untangle the mess. Lesson learned: always kill the engine <em data-start=”435″ data-end=”443”>before securing the line, and never assume you did it right the first time!
