American Sailing, the nation’s leading authority on sailing education and advocacy, today announced the appointment of Nick Harvey to its Board of Directors.
Harvey, a seasoned executive in the marine industry, brings decades of experience in business development, brand strategy, and community engagement. His leadership and vision will be key assets as American Sailing continues to expand its educational offerings and strengthen its nationwide network of sailing schools.
Harvey currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer for Aquila Catamarans, the world’s leading manufacturer of power catamarans. In this role, he oversees global business development, expanding the brand’s dealer network and driving growth in new markets. With Aquila’s recent introduction of a full line of sailing catamarans, Harvey is also reconnecting directly with his lifelong passion for sailing — making his expertise especially relevant to his work with American Sailing.

In his role, Harvey will provide strategic guidance on major initiatives, including the expansion of sailing and powerboating curricula, enhancing value for American Sailing’s affiliates, and creating new pathways to introduce more people to life on the water.
