The goal at American Sailing has always been and will continue to be, to educate and prepare sailors to learn to sail confidently and safely.  Our primary purpose is to promote the sailing lifestyle. Through that, we encourage our sailors to get out and utilize their sailing education by sailing.  Our American Sailing Member Events are designed to get sailors together with other sailors in their natural environment.

The Ocean!

We are scheduling Member Events that promote sailing, adventure, and exploration while visiting the sailing destinations that will encourage you to bareboat charter or join a flotilla.  Currently, American Sailing Members are participating in Sailing Events around the world.

Take a look at what you are missing:

30 Members are aboard Arabella in New England
visiting Vineyard Haven, Nantucket Edgartown, Martha, Vineyard, and Cuttyhunk. The charter begins and ends in Newport with sails going up along the way. It is a week of sailing, meeting new friends, and exploring new sailing destinations. See more upcoming voyages aboard Arabella

20 Members are aboard Cataleya in Croatia
exploring the central Dalmatian coast. This week the guests experienced wine tasting in Jelsa, sampled a traditional dish of Pekka in Korcula, and went swimming in Vis.  The trip is from Split, Croatia, where the Old City is a labyrinth of streets and alleys that is prime for exploration. Multiple boats are part of a Flotilla with Med Sailing Adventures as Captain Jean and Admiral Mila have been leading trips through the Mediterranean all summer and have been for the last decade!
