We can help you reach your sailing goal, whether it be to sail on your local lake, spend a day on the Long Island Sound, race in regattas, or sail to the Bahamas. We are located on the Thames River in New London, CT – a short sail to the Long Island Sound.
We teach basic sailing on a 23-foot Sonar and advanced sailing on 30-40 foot keelboats.
Captain Chris Cooper, our lead instructor, has been sailing for more than 40 years. He has sailed everything from a 14-foot Sunfish to a 48-foot catamaran and many styles of boats in between. Captain Cooper has sailed more than 10,000 nm on the open ocean, and he has a passion for sharing his knowledge and experience.
