Online Sailing Courses

Starpath School of Navigation has been offering courses for over 30 years and is an American Sailing Affiliate. Starpath has taught classroom courses since 1978, having had more than 30,000 classroom students when they switched to all online training in 2002; They have had thousands of online students since then. Their extensive classroom experience is the foundation for online training.

American Sailing and Starpath have teamed up to offer online instruction of sailing courses that do not require you to leave your home. As much as we enjoy being out on the water, we understand that it is sometimes impossible. To date over 600 ASA members have utilized Starpath to expand their sailing education.

Find a school and check on their online course offerings.  A large number of American Sailing Affiliate schools also offer the Starpath Navigation Online Sailing Courses.

Why you should take an online course?

If your time on the water is limited an online alternative is ideal for those courses that require a classroom setting. Learn a few skills and get some certifications from the comfort of your desk and then get out on the water and practice your sailing skills.

Starpath has over 40 years of experience in classroom teaching and 23 years of online training. They guarantee that you will learn the subject matter well, and enjoy doing it.

The courses cost $380 each and include an official ASA certification, textbooks, ebooks, additional study materials, software & online support. Also, instructors are standing by at all times to provide whatever help is needed.
