What is included with an American Sailing membership?
Your membership includes online access to your certifications, A+, a digital membership card, exclusive member discounts on sailing gear, charters, and online courses, plus additional benefits designed to support your sailing journey.
How much does an American Sailing membership cost?
An American Sailing membership is $59 per year for U.S. members and $69 per year for international members. Memberships automatically renew annually unless auto-renew is disabled.
How do I download my digital membership card?
Log in to the Sailor Portal at portal.americansailing.com, then select My Membership > Membership Card. Follow the instructions to add your digital membership card to Apple Wallet on iPhone or PassWallet on Andriod.
How do I update my payment method or account information?
Log in to the Sailor Portal to update your payment method, contact information and other membership details. If you need assistance, please contact Member Services at support@americansailing.com.
Does my membership give me access to my certifications?
Yes. Your American Sailing membership gives you online access to your certifications through the Sailor Portal. You can log in to view your certifications and membership information.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 30-day refund policy. To receive a full refund, you must contact Member Services within 30 days of your membership charge. Refund requests received after 30 days are not eligible for a refund.
