Cruise Abaco offers a unique opportunity for charter guests to not only enjoy the beauty of the Sea of Abaco but also learn the art of sailing through American Sailing courses. With the guidance of licensed Captain and American Sailing Certified Sailing Instructors, guests can gain several certifications during a charter trip. Throughout a typical week aboard, guests can immerse themselves in hands-on learning experiences while exploring the protected waters and outlying cays of the Sea of Abaco.
With the close proximity of the islands, guests can island hop and discover many remote and captivating locations in a short amount of time. Cruise Abaco’s “Captain by day, Bareboat by night” concept allows guests to have the best of both worlds while earning their certifications. The Captain / Instructor is with you during the day, sailing, teaching and stopping to snorkel or take in sights and explore.
Each evening leaves you safely moored, anchored or docked (your preference) and you have the privacy of the vessel to yourselves with a RIB dingy and outboard to go ashore to restaurants, beach comb, swim and explore. The following morning your Captain returns and off you go to another location and destination, each night in a different spot.
