The SAILBOAT SHOP SCORPION BAY offers American Sailing Association (ASA) certified courses: on Lake Pleasant we teach the ASA101 Basic Keelboat 1 Class, ASA103 Basic Coastal Cruising Class, ASA105 Coastal Navigation and ASA118 Docking Endorsement; in California and Florida we teach “ocean” classes of ASA103 Basic Coastal Cruising, ASA104 Bareboat Chartering, ASA 106 Advanced Coastal Cruising, and ASA114 Catamaran Cruising. In addition, we offer a Lake Pleasant 3-Hour Sailing Experience that can be either an introductory sailing lesson or just a beautiful sunset cruise aboard a 25′- 30′ sloop.
