Hi, we’re Bob and Maureen Remsing, the Chicago and Winthrop Harbor SailTime base owners. We discovered a way to share our excitement and passion for one of life’s greatest pleasures: boating on Lake Michigan. Our own experiences of learning to sail, then finding, purchasing and maintaining “the right boat” led us to look for a better way to enjoy life.

SailTime is that better way. We provide experienced trainers that will guide you through your desired ASA Certification level: Basic Keelboat to Advanced Coastal Cruising.

Veterans Program

At American Sailing we recognize the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who have served or are serving in our country’s armed forces. As a token of our appreciation, and our way of saying thank you, we invite veterans and active military personnel to share our passion for sailing by offering a discount on our ASA 101 Keelboat 1 sailing course.
