Facility:
Perry Yacht Club is the home of Paramour Sailing School. This member ship owned, sail only club and marina offers amenities for all sailors from Sunfish and Hobie Cats up to large cruising vessels. Here members take pride in clean, well appointed grounds a full Kitchen and restrooms with showers. Our marina features docks that were replaced in 2023. Our beach is perfect for catamaran launching, and lounging. The view from our clubhouse pavilion is the most beautiful in the state of Kansas.
Sail Education:
Paul and Barry have taught students from Kansas City, Overland Park, Topeka, Lawrence, Wichita, Kansas & More- of all ages from 8 to 88. They are proud to have overseen the certification of hundreds of students as American Sailing Keel Boat One & Two Certified Sailors, preparing them to take on coastal and offshore challenges. Many of Paramour Sailing School’s students have also advanced to their ASA Bareboat Certification, which allows them to captain sailboats all around the world. Course Offering:
Intro to Sailing and Intro to Cruising- both one day classes to get you started.
Zero to Hero- the fast track four day class taking a beginner quickly, and progressively up through AS 101 Certification
American Sailing Certifications: 101, 102, and 103
Private Sailing Sessions- you determine your needs for skill building, new (to you) boat orientation, or on the water adventures.
