Your fenders did their job. Let them rest. Forgetting to stow your fenders while underway risks hull damage, safety hazards, and side-eye from every sailor you pass.

Yes, but sometimes not until some points out that I forgot …
And there are those just motoring up the harbor to a different berth moments.
I recently needed new fenders and bought pneumatic ones that are easy to inflate and deflate so they can be easily stowed underway. I really like a clear deck.
