Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Monroe County, FL, tailored for a husband and wife team to serve as ASA Sailing School Instructors and assist with resort operations. The primary responsibilities include leading sailing instruction and certification courses in alignment with ASA standards. Additional tasks may include providing yachting experiences, offering boating-related support, assisting with resort activities, and contributing to the overall guest experience. Effective communication skills and teamwork are essential. Qualifications Proficiency in Sailing and Yachting, with experience in handling a variety of sailboats Demonstrated ability to provide professional Sailing Instruction. Strong Communication skills, with the ability to engage with students and resort guests effectively Previous experience or certification from the American Sailing Association (ASA) is highly preferred Ability to collaboratively manage operational and hospitality tasks in a resort setting A passion for teaching, patience, and adaptability to meet diverse skill levels First Aid and CPR certification is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks related to sailing and resort assistance

NotesBoat Coordinator Seasonal position starting ASAP. This Boat Coordinator role includes conducting sailboat checks, coordinating the cleaning company, helping customers get on board, and coordinating a boat engine intern and a dockhand. The Boat Coordinator must be friendly, know what a clean boat should look like (inside and out), and be able to test all the systems. The Boat Coordinator should be able to do some basic systems and engine repairs (major repairs will be conducted by Reliable Marine). The days are Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The hours are "when needed" based on the boat charter and rental schedule. Pay is approximately $25/hour.
