First off, try calling your club a boat club, rather than a yacht club. We don’t refer to our Thistles, Lightning, 420’s, etc., as yachts. They’re just boats. Using the term “boat club” will reduce the snooty factor somewhat.

You left out another category. Clubs that have no Facilities. Our local club has no Facilities. Social events are scheduled at local watering holes and eateries. Races are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Longer cruises are several times per year. Annual Membership dues are less than dinner for two.
