With Two Locations: St. Clair Shores and Harrison Township, Lake St. Clair Sailing School has been certifying students to sail for over 25 years. We are an ASA certified training facility with the areas top instructors.

Halcyon Sailing – Lake St. Clair offers introductory sailing and advanced cruising lessons. We are conveniently located at Jefferson Beach Marina – the premier marina in the area. This location offers a protected area with easy access to vast, freshwater sailing venues of Detroit and Canada.

Located in the summer vacation resort village of Port Sanilac, we can certify you and prepare you for your next sailing adventure. Capt’n John Diel has over 40 years of sailing experience and almost 100,000 miles of sailing logged. He has sailed and trained many for family adventures and for long distance blue water passage making. He is a “Salty Dog” – a title given by ARC to those who have sailed many miles and ocean passages.
