At our sailing school, we provide a unique opportunity for adults to enjoy an exciting and unforgettable sailing experience. Our instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and are passionate about getting people out on the water to learn new skills and build confidence. We also offer opportunities for racing and fun sails so that our students can explore on their own after they’ve honed their skills with our expert instructors.

South Coast Sailing Adventures is conveniently located in Kemah, Texas – 30 minutes from downtown Houston or Galveston. All of our instructors are U.S.C.G. licensed captains and are certified by the ASA. We utilize training boats specifically designed to teach beginning sailors and we have the largest sailing fleet along the northern Gulf Coast with 24+ boats ranging from 23-45′ from manufacturers like Colgate, Catalina, Beneteau, and Hunter.

We take our name from the Elm Fork of the Trinity River – the waters of which create the beautiful Lewisville Lake on the north side of the DFW metroplex.

North Texas Sailing School celebrates 50 years of continuous sailing service as one of the industry’s premier sailing schools. We are located on the east shore of beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard in Heath, Texas. Our desire is to help you realize your sailing dream, whether it be lake sailing or blue water sailing.

Windward SeaVenture Charters has instructors voted “Instructor of the Year” in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2013 and they all are USCG Master Level licensed captains with over 30 years’ experience in sailing and teaching. We also offer you a discount on all charters you take with us for 1 year from your date of completion of any class with no monthly club dues or yearly fees. Our class sizes are limited to 4 persons plus instructor, so that you will have individual attention.
